White wedding dresses were popularised by Queen Victoria in 1840 – so don’t you think it’s time for a change?
A survey by Brides magazine discovered 44% of women planning a wedding said they would consider having a coloured bridal gown.
As usual, the celebs are leading the way. Keira Knightley plumped for a simple Chanel number in blush and Victoria Beckham changed into a vibrant plum dress. It’s nothing new either – Elizabeth Taylor chose mustard yellow for her first wedding to Richard Burton.
Follow in their footsteps, with our edit of beautiful wedding dresses in a manner of all hues.
